AUGMENTED REALITY

         AUGMENTED REALITY

Augmented Reality is a technology that acts as an interface between the user and the developer through the various software and apps , thus making the imagination of the developer as asked by the user , coming true in the real world using Augmentation.

Although a lot of things have been developed like filters , augmented reality based apps and webgl pages. Yet, it is in under-development phase and will emerge enormously in the upcoming future.

This technology  has a lot of potential to shake the economy of any country , this is the key reason why many multi-national companies are chasing and investing in this technology.

Comparison with Virtual Reality

In Augmented Reality (AR) ,we interact between the real life environment with the 3-d models or the things made by the developers in real world using the aids or the tools that act an interface between these two.

Whereas, Virtual reality (VR) is completely based on the virtual world , we have no interaction with the real world in Virtual Reality . It just uses   the aids/tools made by the developers and thus letting users entering the virtual world.

Types of Augmented Reality (AR)

Basically, Augmented Reality(AR) has two types ;-

1.Markerless Ar

2.Marker-Based Ar

But occasionally we may have two more types i.e. Location-Based and Marker-Based Ar.

1.Marker-based Ar

Maker-based AR simply needs some target image or the data feed by the developers in the app or web interfaces, which are to be scanned and thus letting you to feel the ecstasy of the Augmented Reality world.

2.Marker-less Ar

Markerless augmented reality (AR) requires basically any of the plane/flat  surface of the real world . After detecting this kind of surfaces ,you are welcomed to the exciting world of augmented reality i.e. you may explore that webpage or application based on markerless-AR.
