BLOCKCHAIN AND ITS APPLICATIONS

Image
In 1999, Nobel Prize-Winning economist Milton Friedman said, “the one thing that’s missing is a reliable e-cash, whereby on the internet you can transfer funds from A to B without A knowing B or B knowing A” and that “it would be one of the major forces for reducing the role of government.” 10 years later, the Bitcoin blockchain launched intending to become the future of money. In 2008, A document was published online called ‘Bitcoin: a peer-to-peer electronic cash system’.The document outlines how to build a digital currency that is secure and transparent without a bank or central body. It’s written by an unknown person called ‘Satoshi Nakamoto’. In 2009, Satoshi launched Bitcoin in January 2009 as an alternative to the current financial system and centers of power. Around 2014, technologists and investors shifted their focus from Bitcoin to the blockchain, bitcoin’s underlying technology. Though Bitcoin and blockchain are often referred to interchangeably, that’s incorrect. Bitcoin i

How Linear Regression model works using Pytorch

Image
Linear regression is the most important practice in data science. It is used to predict the relationship between the dependent and independent  variables. In this article, I am going to show you how a simple linear regression model works using easy PyTorch functions. I’ve used google-collab to run the notebooks and imported jovian files. Jovian is a great learning platform for data science and machine learning. Their platform is great for performing machine learning. We'll create a simple model that predicts student scores that is related to the time they spent studying. Data that we’ll use for training the model: Our basic job is to find the weight(m) and biases(b). For our model, we can describe relation as y=mx+b let just first represent our data into two matrices input(X) and targets(y) We have used x to store inputs and y to store the biases For weights and biases, the basic idea is to randomize the

MACHINE LEARNING

WHAT  IS  MACHINE LEARNING? As we know that the future of machines is very huge and beyond our imagination. It is all around us in the modern world. Machine learning[ML] is basically in which humans train the machines to make decisions. In simple words,  Machine Learning is " Machines that are trained from data ". It is the sub-core of Artificial Intelligence. ML Algorithm builds a model based on sample data known as 'training data'. It accesses the data and performs tasks automatically that can teach itself to grow and change when exposed to new data using iterative algorithms to make prediction and detection without being explicitly programmed to do so.   More data > Better Model > Higher Accuracy    We have numerous examples around us. Some  example is as follows : -If you say Alexa play the song. It will play the song according to the song you played the most.  -You must have watched NetFlix. There is a different section of recommended movies which you may l
